Meet Kushink Bazaz, Product Manager for electric trucks with responsibility for the Southern European market.
“Every market is unique, and my role is to ensure we provide the right product knowledge and prerequisites that enable our markets to offer the correct technical solution for each transportation assignment, aligning with legal requirements as well as customer demands. We stay updated on infrastructure development, subsidies and incentives within electrification in each region to help scale e-Mobility solutions. My team and I need to be creative to find the best solutions to every challenge. The key is staying close to our customers – understanding their pain points and needs,” she explains.
Customer focus
Kushink thrives at the intersection of technology and customer focus. “As a Product Manager, I love working with a hands-on product-navigating technology, while always keeping the customer at the centre. I’m fortunate to work with a fantastic team, and together, we feel like part of something meaningful, something bigger – ensuring transportation has a sustainable and attractive future,” she says.
“Being a part of the e-Mobility journey is both humbling and an energy-boost. Being able to help our clients and our co-workers in each market with products and solutions that fit each individual need is what motivates me each day.”
Being part of something bigger
With a master's degree in Industrial Engineering, Kushink’s journey at Scania began in 2012 as a Pre-Sales Engineer in Kurdistan. Here, she had the opportunity to meet end customers on a daily basis. This laid the foundation for her ensuring customer needs stay at the core of everything she does and is reflected in the several roles she has taken on since returning to Sweden, including product planning and product manager roles within different industries and technologies.
“I feel right at home at Scania. Being able to be part of something as important as the electrification journey of transportation is one part of it. Being able to work with competent, inspiring and ambitious people is another. Great collaboration is key for our and our customers’ success.”
