Graduate Engineer Program

Embark on a dynamic journey into engineering with our Graduate Engineering Program — designed to kickstart your career in Production, Logistics or Maintenance.  

About the program

The Graduate Engineer Program provides a unique opportunity to develop your expertise in engineering while gaining a deeper understanding of Scania’s operations. From the start, you’ll be immersed in our culture, way of working, and strategies. Through tailored learning modules, site visits, and rotations, you’ll acquire valuable insights into the industrial challenges ahead and build the skills and connections to set you up for a successful career in an international environment.

For whom?

Graduates or young professionals with a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Engineering and up to two years of relevant professional experience in their field of study.

Location

Södertälje or Oskarshamn (Sweden).

Duration

Six months (with full-time employment at Scania from day one).

Start

August 2025.

Language

Swedish (proficiency in English is also required due to Scania's global presence).

Production, logistics and maintenance.

What’s in it for you?

  • A six-month program where you will learn Scania’s culture, way of working and strategies. Together with your graduate peers you’ll participate in site visits at our production sites, engage in technical education to further your professional skills, and build your network.
  • Rotations across three different production areas where you’ll use your technical and creative engineering skills while gaining valuable experience working with real products on real business challenges.
  • Support and coaching throughout the program, including a personal plan to enhance your development.
  • Permanent employment from day one at one of our Productions & Logistics sites in Södertälje or Oskarshamn (you may request the location in your application).

Who are you?

You are a curious, solution-driven team player with a passion for technology and sustainability,  eager to expand your knowledge and create a meaningful impact.

 

To be eligible for the program, you must hold a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Engineering, having graduated between 2023 and the summer of 2025. Additionally, you should have a maximum of two years of professional experience in your field of study by the start of the program. 

Application

The application period is from 13 January to 16 February, 2025.

 

A complete application must include a cover letter, CV, and a summary of your grade records or degree certificate. Please note that incomplete applications will not be processed.
